Belief Statements

Beliefs
Describes the basic character of FCCSC.
They represent a consensus of values of those
who make up FCCSC.

We believe:

  1. FCCSC must provide quality products and services that
    enable institutions to respond to the ever changing needs
    and responsibilities of students, faculty, staff, and the
    community.
  2. FCCSC is best positioned to provide quality products and
    services.
  3. FCCSC understands the business of Florida Community
    Colleges best.
  4. Collaborative efforts result in synergy.
  5. FCCSC member colleges collectively possess the broad-
    based, high quality human resources required to provide
    quality products and services.
  6. Quality of the products we produce is the bottom line.
  7. FCCSC member colleges have common needs and objectives
    yet value institutional uniqueness.
  8. FCCSC must be flexible and responsive to the ever-
    changing needs and required changes of our member
    colleges.
  9. The focus of the FCCSC should be on business practices
    and needs.
  10. FCCSC promotes the efficient use of public funds.
  11. FCCSC should promote technical and managerial
    professionalism through continuous training and skill
    development.
  12. Each member institution is an equal partner in
    governance.
  13. Shared decision making and mutual respect enhance quality.
  14. Continued user group input is vital to the successful design,
    development and implementation of our products
Mission of the FCCSC

“To provide technology leadership and cost-effective management of resources allocated by the FCCSC members for the greater good of all participating institutions. This is achieved with solid project plans, effective contract management, delivery of world-class ERP functionality, maintaining a leading position with higher-education technology, and a high degree of responsiveness to member institutional needs.”

 

Objectives

This is the commitment to achieve specific, measurable end results. The Objectives come from and further define the Mission. They must be measurable, demonstrable, or observable in, at least, two of the following terms, (1) time, (2) money, (3) quality, and (4) quantity.

  • Provide a Technologically Sound, Functionally Rich, quality software Package
  • Increase Consortium membership by one member per year annually
  • Increase consumer satisfaction annually
  • Increase institutional capabilities annually
